A placement test is organized for anyone wishing to join the Alliance Française de Lille Métropole to determine language level and objectives. The form below is the first step in the registration process.

How do I register?

1. Take the online written placement test, followed by the video call-based oral test, and confirm your course plan with our academic advisor.
2. Pay the deposit to confirm your registration and complete the registration form.
3. Receive your class schedule and start learning French!

    Information about the written placement test :

    We invite you to take this written level test online.
    This test is intended for people who have written and oral French skills (comprehension), even at a basic level.
    This test will take between15 and 45 minutes, depending on your level, and will measure your listening, reading, and grammar skills.
    At the end of the test, please provide us with your contact details, and we will get back to you to schedule the oral level test (conversation and questions/answers on various topics).

    Any results sent are saved for future reference

    On completion of the test, our training manager will suggest the course best suited to your objectives and send you the practical information for your course.
