With the help of Théo and Vanessa, the students got down to work. Some were already pros, while others were just learning the rudiments of cooking. But they were all there to have fun and share a good time!

After cutting and decorating the shortbread, it was time to put them in the oven. Meanwhile, the students chatted over drinks, exchanging views on Christmas traditions.

Once the shortbread was baked, everyone enjoyed tasting it. All in all, this Christmas cooking workshop in the Fives communal kitchen was much more than a simple culinary activity. It perfectly embodied the spirit of interculturality that reigns within the Alliance Française de Lille Métropole student community. It was a wonderful moment of conviviality, generosity and sharing, with everyone adding their own personal touch!
